Wow, glad to see GRAW has done so well and has branched out. I am a Canadian who lived in Victoria 11 years ago (landed there in 1996) and one of the first things I wanted to do was surf. A good friend of mine highly recommended Go Ride a Wave to me. So I went and met Chris who set me up for my first lesson and then I would go down every Tuesday and get a couple hours in the water, on a board that Chris lent me because he was glad to see a Canadian in the water and trying to ride the waves. Truely one of most memorable experiences there in Anglesea and Australia for that matter. Thanks again Chris and congratulations on the growth of your fantastic company.

Hi, my name is Takumi Kinjo, and i am 13 years old, I'm from New Zealand and Japan and i live in Tokyo, Japan and I go to Australia almost every year for the summer. But last summer was the first time i went to Surfer's Paradise. My sister, my brother and I really wanted to learn how to surf and we were looking everywhere for a surfing school. Then after we ate lunch, we found Go Ride A Wave, and so we knew we wanted to learn how to surf from them. I was really excited about it. I couldn't wait for it. And when we got down to the beach, i was itching to get into the water and start surfing. I learned how to surf pretty quickly and after we had a short rest, one of the instructors let me use a short board. It was so much fun. I won't ever forget that day. Unfortunately we had! to stop surfing and go back to the hotel. But the next day i was begging my parents to let me go surfing again, so they took us back to Go Ride A Wave to hire boards and wetsuits. My dad said it looked like fun so he tried to surf too. We tried really hard to teach him, and he sort of got the hang of it. We surfed until we had to go back to the hotel and pack up to head back to japan. My mom really likes to take pictures, especially during the summer, and i don't think theres one picture of me where i don't have a smile on my face. I want to thank Go Ride A Wave so much for giving me such a great first surfing experience.

A big thank you to Go Ride A Wave! Before my lesson I had been surfing several times without any success so frustration levels were running high! I attended the 2 hour lesson and my instructor had me standing within 5 minutes much to my amazment! Since then I've been surfing as much as I can...so beware, once you start you can't stop! Thanks again and keep up the good work! Matt

On behalf of the Melbourne Term girls from Methodist Ladies College, we'd like thank Perri, Phoebe, Peter and Will for their assitance and help they've given us and taking the time to teach us surfing and kayaking durring our stay in Lorne. They were both expereinces that we all won't forget, and this wouldn't be possible if it weren't for your help and support. Thanks so much for teaching us and looking out for us when we were in trouble. I think we'd rather spend time at the beach than go out shopping; thanks so much for everything.
Kayaking was incredibly hard to find fun and enjoyable. However thanks to Peter and Will, it felt as if they had saved us from the big rough waves. It was definately an experience i won't forget, surfing on the waves! with a kayak was really fun and different. Thanx again.
I didn't know what to expect from this surfing experience, so it was quite nerve-racking. Thanks to Phoebe and Perri, they taught us well even through the rainy and windy weather!
Thanks to everyone at GO RIDE A WAVE, thanks for all their staff that helped out and taught us. It was definately the highlight for our camp to try out the new activities with such skilled staff as assitance.

Just wanted to thank you for the great time our group had surfing with you.We had a corporate theme of "Ride the Wave of Success" - so when you're looking for a team building exercise what else can you do but take them all surfing?]
From the initial enquiry to the end of our adventure, Go Ride a Wave were completely professional. Only a couple of people in our group of 15 that had ever attempted surfing before but with the assistance of your brillant instructors everyone could say they'd successfully surfed a wave! A great time was had by all - it's been the hot topic for weeks! As a team exercise it was fantastic. We had some new team members and outings like this one have certainly helped the group to gel and create some friendly competition both on the waves and in the sales figures!
A big thank you to the team at Go Ride a Wave for providing such a fantastic experience!
Yours sincerely

Rip Curl have a long standing relationship with Go Ride a Wave, because we are a Surf Company and Surfing is our life-we love the idea of all our new staff getting the opportunity to learn to surf. It is a great fun time had by all our new staff members and also a great introduction to surfing for them - with a lot of them now regulars in the water!!! All my dealings with Go Ride a Wave are great. Staff are always helpful and friendly and most importantly - patient.

To the GRAW team who helped on the Geelong College Open Water Swim, 24/2/06. Reece, Peter, Chris and Tom. Special thanks to Tom who bought in a distressed female competitor quickly and efficiently. As usual, your staff's expertise is greatly apprecieated. The event ran smoothly and the Geelong Grammar and Christian College communities were also impressed.
